Job summary

Teachmint seeks an experienced Operations Manager based in Dubai to own end-to-end regional operations, from shipment coordination through Jebel Ali port to service delivery via the ASP network. Lead inventory, customs, and office operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, and Marketing to scale the Middle East business and improve efficiency. Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

• MBA or related Post Graduate degree preferred for advancement.

We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager based in Dubai to own end-to-end regional operations — shipment coordination through Jebel Ali port, customs clearance, inventory and warehouse management, and service delivery via our ASP network — while ensuring regulatory compliance and driving process efficiency across the Dubai entity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supply Chain & Fulfilment
• Shipment & Import Operations: Manage end-to-end shipment coordination from supplier to Jebel Ali, including documentation, freight coordination, customs clearance and import processes.
• Order & Delivery Fulfilment: Own operational execution from confirmed order to final delivery, coordinating stock allocation, dispatch, logistics partners and partner/customer requirements.
• Inventory & Warehouse Management: Manage inventory availability, warehouse operations, stock movement, replenishment, demo/service inventory and periodic stock audits.
• Operational Cost Management: Monitor warehouse, logistics, customs and other operational costs and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost optimisation.
• distributors, logistics providers, warehouse partners and other vendors, including documentation, performance and issue resolution.
• Product Certifications & Compliance : Coordinate applicable product certifications, regulatory approvals and compliance requirements such as ECAS, TDRA and related documentation.
• Entity & Office Operations : Manage operational and administrative requirements related to the Teachmint Dubai entity and office, including relevant documentation and ad-hoc requirements.
• Operations Governance & Business Support
• SOPs & Process Improvement : Develop and maintain SOPs across supply chain, fulfilment, inventory, service and vendor operations; identify bottlenecks and improve turnaround time and efficiency..
• MIS & Operational Controls : Maintain accurate operational data and reporting covering inventory, shipments, orders, deliveries, service, vendors and key operational metrics.
• Cross-functional Coordination : Work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Marketing and Customer Support to ensure smooth execution of regional operations.
• Business & Market Support : Support new-market launches, partner onboarding, events, demo movements and other operational initiatives required to scale the Middle East business.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline (An MBA / Post Graduate Degree in Operations or Supply Chain is preferred).
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Operations, Order Management, Supply Chain Operations, or Field Operations Delivery.
• Industry Background: Experience in EdTech, Consumer Durables, IT Hardware Distribution, or Tech-enabled Logistics is highly desirable.
• Analytical & Data-Driven: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, data modeling, reporting) with the ability to draw insights from complex operational datasets.
• Systems Familiarity: Working knowledge of ERPs, Order Management Systems (OMS), or CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Zoho).
• Vendor & Partner Management: Proven ability to onboard, negotiate, and enforce SLAs with external logistics and service partners.
• Execution & Ownership: High attention to detail with a track record of driving cross-functional projects under strict timelines.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and regional languages to interact effectively with internal leadership and external clients/vendors.
