Job summary

Client of AW Connect is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor Team Leader to oversee MEP and HVAC maintenance across residential, commercial, and retail properties in the UAE.

You will lead a team, coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient service delivery while meeting client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• ITI or diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or related discipline.
• 5–7 years UAE experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Experience with VRF/VRV systems, chillers and package units preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC control wiring and basic building management systems.
• Refrigerant-handling certification is an advantage.
• Good English communication and local conduct certificate required.
• UAE driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems including VRF/VRV, split and package units and chillers.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical panels, wiring, lighting and pumps.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance including filter cleaning and refrigerant top-ups.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and detailed service reporting.
• Support and coach team members to ensure safe, efficient work to standards.
• Participate in emergency call‑out rota and urgent response when required.

Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor Team Leader to lead and deliver high-quality MEP and HVAC maintenance services across residential, commercial, and retail properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Install maintain troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems including split and ducted units VRF VRV systems package units chillers and refrigeration equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical panels wiring lighting switches sockets pumps motors plumbing lines and AC control systems.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance including filter cleaning coil washing refrigerant top-ups thermostat calibration pressure testing and vacuuming refrigerant lines.
• Replace HVAC components such as compressors fan motors capacitors and control boards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings manuals and equipment specifications to support accurate installations and repairs.
• Conduct site inspections quality checks and detailed service reporting.
• Maintain tools equipment stock and work areas in safe clean working condition request replacement supplies when needed.
• Support and coach team members ensuring jobs are completed safely efficiently and to company standards.
• Participate in the emergency call‑out rota and emergency‑response activity when required.
• Work independently or as part of a team including weekends and public holidays when operationally necessary.
• Maintain polite professional communication and presentation at every client site.

Key Requirements

• ITI or diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Electrical, Mechanical, MEP, or an equivalent discipline.
• Five to seven years of UAE experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Practical experience with VRF/VRV systems chillers and package units preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC control wiring and basic building management systems.
• Refrigerant-handling certification is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Good conduct certificate from the relevant local authority.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
