Job summary

AL FANIAH A/C SYSTEM CONT/LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced HVAC Site Supervisor/Site Engineer to supervise installation works at project sites, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, schedules and HSE. You will coordinate with engineers, consultants and subcontractors, review shop drawings, monitor progress, supervise QA/QC, and prepare daily reports.

Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC / MEP or equivalent.
• Min 10 years of relevant HVAC site experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and coordination drawings.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Site Supervisor Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate HVAC installation works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring installations are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, quality standards and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day HVAC installation activities at site
• Ensure HVAC works are executed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements
• Supervise installation of AHU FAHU FCU FCU VRF and DX systemsChilled-water pipingRefrigerant pipingGI PI ductworkFresh-air and exhaust systemsVentilation and smoke-extraction systemsGrilles diffusers louvers dampers and related accessories
• Coordinate with Project Engineers consultants subcontractors suppliers and other MEP disciplines
• Review HVAC drawings and coordinate with architectural structural electrical plumbing and firefighting works
• Monitor manpower materials tools and equipment required for HVAC installation
• Check the quality and workmanship of HVAC installations
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate IR WIR inspections with consultants
• Ensure HVAC installations comply with approved drawings specifications and relevant standards
• Monitor daily and weekly work progress against the project schedule
• Prepare daily site reports progress reports manpower reports and material requirements
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling at site
• Raise RFIs and report drawing discrepancies technical issues and site constraints to the Project Engineer Manager
• Coordinate pressure testing flushing duct leakage testing insulation inspection and other HVAC testing activities
• Support testing commissioning TAB snagging and handover activities
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure assigned works are completed within the required timeframe
• Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with project HSE requirements
• Attend site coordination meetings and provide updates on progress and technical issues
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC / MEP or equivalent. Min 10 years of relevant HVAC site experience. UAE/GCC/INDIA experience is preferred. Strong practical knowledge of HVAC installation and construction activities. Ability to read and interpret HVAC shop drawings, layouts, schematics, and MEP coordination drawings. Knowledge of chilled-water, VRF/VRV, DX, ventilation, ducting, and piping systems. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Good understanding of HVAC testing and commissioning procedures. Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in UAE HVAC/MEP projects. Experience working with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors. Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, DW/144, and applicable UAE project requirements. Experience with high-rise buildings, commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, residential projects, or fit-out works. Knowledge of QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures. UAE driving license is an advantage. Strong leadership and manpower-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
