Job summary

Melia Hotels International in Dubai seeks an experienced Weddings & Private Events Sales Leader to own and deliver annual revenue targets. You will develop plans, generate new business, and build relationships with wedding planners, luxury partners and private clients to craft tailored proposals.

You will coordinate with Revenue Management, F&B, events and operations to ensure seamless delivery, manage contracts and deposits, and drive repeat business through exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in wedding, social events, catering or hospitality sales
• Fluency in English & Arabic is required
• Proven ability to achieve revenue targets and convert leads into confirmed business
• Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the annual weddings and private events revenue target
• Develop monthly, quarterly and annual sales action plans and forecasts
• Generate new business through calls, referrals, networking and events
• Build strong relationships with wedding planners, luxury partners and private clients
• Negotiate rates, packages and contractual terms within authority
• Coordinate with hotel departments to deliver seamless events and post-event follow-up
