Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Weddings & Social Events Sales Specialist to develop wedding and social event business, convert enquiries into profitable bookings, and manage celebrations from confirmation through completion. You will coordinate with departments to deliver luxury experiences aligned with the property's standards.

Responsibilities include prospecting, site tours, proposals, contracts, and upselling menus and add-ons while maintaining CRM records and ensuring revenue targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Sales or related field.
• 3–4 years of wedding sales or luxury events experience.
• Proven ability to convert enquiries and hit revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Experience with Opera, Envision, and CRM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to grow weddings and social events while meeting revenue targets.
• Handle enquiries across channels with timely follow-up and consultative selling.
• Build relationships with couples, planners and luxury clients.
• Conduct site inspections, tastings, and planning consultations.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and contracts aligned with client needs.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Banquets, Rooms, Reservations and other departments to ensure seamless delivery.
• Monitor deposits, payments, and profitability; forecast revenue.
