Luxury MICE & Group Sales Executive

Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a focused MICE and group sales professional to expand the property’s luxury offerings in Abu Dhabi. You’ll lead proactive sales efforts, build strong client relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to convert enquiries into profitable group business.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in MICE or luxury hospitality, strong communication and negotiation skills, and hands-on CRM experience to manage leads, proposals, and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years in MICE sales or luxury hospitality environment.
• Understanding of MICE sales cycle: prospecting, enquiries, proposals, contracting, and development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organization to manage multiple leads and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM; Opera/Envision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new MICE and group business opportunities.
• Conduct proactive sales activities: calls, visits, meetings, emails, site inspections, tours.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, DMO s, agencies, planners.
• Support account development, client follow-ups, and targeted sales initiatives.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and contracts.
• Follow up on enquiries and bookings to improve conversion and revenue.
• Maintain contact with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.
• Research markets and opportunities to expand the MICE pipeline.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and major events calendar.
• Maintain records in CRM and lead-tracking systems.
• Know Opera and reservation systems to review availability and blocks.
• Ensure quotations, contracts, deposits, and docs comply with policies.
• Coordinate with Revenue, Events, Reservations, and ops for handovers.
• Follow up after stays to gather feedback and future opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of accommodation, facilities, services to support selling.
