Job summary

Park Hyatt Dubai seeks a talented Weddings & Social Events Sales professional to develop strategies, convert inquiries, and manage complex celebrations from confirmation to completion. You will build relationships with couples, planners, and luxury clients while coordinating with hotel departments to deliver memorable luxury weddings.

The role emphasizes personalized planning, consultative sales, and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue and guest experiences within the property's luxury

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Sales, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 3–4 years in wedding sales or event planning, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Proven ability to convert enquiries and meet revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple weddings and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Opera, Envision, CRM platforms, and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to grow weddings, destination weddings, and social events.
• Handle enquiries across channels, converting to bookings with timely follow-up.
• Build relationships with couples, planners, destination wedding specialists, and luxury clients to generate referrals.
• Conduct site inspections, tastings, and planning consultations to understand client expectations.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and contracts aligned with client requirements and policies.
• Maximize revenue through upselling of menus, accommodation, venue enhancements, and guest experiences.
• Manage high-value weddings from confirmation to execution as the primary advisor.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Banquets, Reservations, Housekeeping, Spa, Engineering, Florist, and other departments.
• Monitor deposits, payments, profitability, and booking pace.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote campaigns during need periods.
• Maintain client profiles and event information in CRM, Envision, Opera, and related systems.
