Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related discipline.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in event sales, group management, catering sales, or conference services in luxury hospitality.
• Proven track record of achieving event revenue targets and driving profitability.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of event sales systems and hotel operations (Opera, Envision, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Events Sales team to generate, convert, and manage event and group business.
• Develop strategies to increase banquet and catering revenue and function-space utilization.
• Evaluate enquiries to align with commercial objectives and capacity.
• Oversee proposals, contracts, and sales agreements to ensure professionalism.
• Maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event organizers for repeat business.
• Coordinate multiple events from confirmation through planning, execution, and post-event follow-up.
• Ensure smooth handover between Groups Sales and Events and accurate communication of client requirements.
