Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton in Dubai is seeking a Reservations professional to handle inquiries, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail. You will determine guest needs, verify room type availability and rates, and clearly explain guarantees, rates, and cancellation policies to callers.

As part of the team, you will follow the Gold Standards and maintain professional appearance and service, while supporting colleagues to meet guest expectations and protect guest information.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type.
• Verify availability of room type and rate; explain policies to callers.
• Input and access data in reservation system; follow escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.
