Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Lounge Manager for Sky Lounge in Dubai to oversee daily operations and ensure a seamless, high-standard guest experience across the venue.

You will lead front-of-house teams, coordinate with Guest Relations, and support events while maintaining service quality, hygiene, and revenue KPIs. Fluency in English is essential, with Arabic, French, or Russian as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within luxury lounges, or high-end hospitality venues.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional front-of-house teams under high-volume, fast-paced conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and guest-recovery skills.
• Comfortable with reservation, POS, and reporting systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic, French, or Russian an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor, bar, and guest service operations across shifts.
• Supervise front-of-house teams — hosting, reservations, floor, and bar.
• Deputize for the Lounge Manager in their absence, with full accountability.
• Monitor guest experience in real time and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate VIP guest handling with Guest Relations for peak periods.
• Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Maintain service, presentation, and hygiene standards venue-wide.
• Support events, brunches, and themed nights across departments.
• Assist with reporting on revenue, covers, and KPIs.
