Job summary

The Lana, part of Dorchester Collection Dubai, seeks an Assistant Lobby Lounge Manager to lead the lobby lounge operations and deliver ultra-luxury guest experiences. You will oversee the afternoon tea program, train and mentor staff, and ensure exceptional service standards in a fast-paced luxury setting.

You bring deep knowledge of premium teas, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. Arabic and other languages are a plus; English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead teams to deliver ultra-luxury hospitality.
• Deep knowledge of premium teas and afternoon tea service standards.
• Excellent communication and customer-service ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the lobby lounge to ensure the best guest experience.
• Oversee the signature afternoon tea service with expert tea knowledge and etiquette.
• Drive talent sourcing, mentoring and develop a cohesive training program within the department.
• Align with Dorchester Collection values to bring passion, personality, respect, teamwork and creativity to life.
• Monitor revenue targets and control costs within budget, including beverage cost and payroll.
• Conduct daily pre-service briefings to inform the team of daily happenings and upcoming services.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain immaculate presentation, cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
