Job summary

The First Group Hospitality is seeking a Kitchen Technician to maintain and service kitchen equipment and systems at our luxury properties in the UAE. The role supports F&B and culinary teams, ensures safety, hygiene, and optimal performance of ovens, refrigerators, and related gear.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and coordinate work with contractors to minimise downtime while following health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, vocational qualification, or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Plumbing, HVAC, or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-dinding abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen equipment and related systems.
• Support operation and maintenance of ovens, ranges, grills, fryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and ventilation.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules.
• Coordinate with F&B and culinary teams to minimize disruption during maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and equipment history.
