Job summary

The First Group Hospitality in Dubai is seeking a skilled Kitchen Technician to join our luxury hotel operations. You will implement maintenance programs for all kitchen and laundry equipment, perform routine inspections, and coordinate with the Hygiene Manager to ensure HACCP compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in a 4/5-star hotel, knowledge of hot and cold kitchen equipment repairs, and the ability to perform ARC and gas welding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as Kitchen Technician in a 4/5* hotel.
• Knowledge of hot and cold kitchen equipment repair including chillers, freezers, dishwashers, glass washers, gas cooking equipment and ovens.
• Familiar with HACCP principles and various brands of kitchen equipment.
• Capable of ARC and gas welding.

Responsibilities

• Implement maintenance program for kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Coordinate with hygiene manager to ensure HACCP compliance.
• Repair and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment (electric and gas).
• Inspect and log daily kitchen equipment readings and checklists.
• Liaise with kitchen equipment contractors and ensure safety standards.
