Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is seeking a Kitchen Technician to join the Engineering team. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations and coordinate with Culinary and Stewarding teams to minimise disruption.

The role requires hands-on expertise in repairing combi ovens, refrigeration and dishwashing gear, with a focus on safety, documentation, and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• > Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same role in hospitality environment.
• "> Self-motivated with a hands-on and flexible approach.
• "> Knowledge of Kitchen equipment repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques for combi ovens, other cooking equipment, preparation equipment, refrigeration equipment and dishwashing equipment.
• "> Knowledge in the operation of electrical control systems.
• "> Ability to diagnose and resolve problems and use hand and power tools.
• "> Ability to use hand and power tools.

Aufgaben

• Attends to repair and maintenance of all types of kitchen equipment.
• Carry out electric arc or oxy-acetylene welding.
• Attends to pipe repairs or fitting work including minor plumbing work.
• Responding to unscheduled work requests within 15 minutes of receipt of the same.
• Ensuring that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair. Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering public areas.
• Ensuring that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition.
• Observing prescribed safety standards. Helping maintain safe conditions for self and others.
• Performing related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Interacts with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities.
