Job summary

The First Group Hospitality in the UAE seeks a General Technician to support the maintenance, safety, and presentation of facilities at a luxury destination. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance and collaborate with the Maintenance, Security, F&B, Housekeeping, Recreation, and Finance teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates have technical certification, hands-on maintenance experience, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate or equivalent in maintenance or related field.
• Experience in general maintenance or building services.
• Basic knowledge of multiple maintenance disciplines.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify hazards.
• Maintain tools, parts, and records of work performed.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption.
• Support approved contractors and service providers when required.
