Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is seeking a Butcher & Still Restaurant Commis II to assist chefs in daily kitchen operations and uphold high standards of food preparation. You will support senior chefs, help with prep, maintain clean workstations, and ensure proper storage of deliveries.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience in a luxury brand, an outgoing personality, strong kitchen knowledge, and proficient English.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a similar luxury-brand role.
• Outgoing personality with can-do attitude.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of food items according to standard procedures and recipes.
• Support Commis I, Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
• Keep workstations, equipment and utensils clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Maintain knowledge of food handling, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Receive, check and properly store deliveries as instructed.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by senior kitchen staff or management.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Restaurant Chef or Sous Chef.
