Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Commis II to join The Butcher & Still Restaurant. You will assist chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations, help maintain high standards of food preparation, and support senior chefs according to recipes and procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of luxury-brand kitchen experience, strong English communication, and a collaborative, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury brand.
• Outgoing personality and can-do attitude.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations.
• Excellent English speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food items according to standard procedures and recipes.
• Support higher-level chefs in daily kitchen operations.
• Keep workstations, equipment and utensils clean, sanitized and organized.
• Maintain knowledge of basic food handling, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Receive, check and store deliveries as instructed.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior kitchen staff or management.
• Assist the Restaurant Chef or Sous Chef with additional tasks as needed.
