Job summary

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Hostess for our F&B outlets in Dubai to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will greet guests, manage seating plans, take reservations, and coordinate with service teams to ensure smooth service.

The role emphasizes elegance, professionalism, and attentiveness in a luxury setting. Ideal candidates will have 1 year of F&B hotel experience, strong English communication, and polished appearance.

Qualifications

• 1 year hotel experience in F&B
• Secondary education
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to establish a good rapport with guests
• Possess full knowledge of restaurant’s seating/table plan
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at F&B Outlets and manage reservations
• Provide a warm and friendly welcome, seating guests at their table
• Take telephone bookings and maintain a clear reservations book
• Assist in the set-up of tables and displays
• Maintain and update guest database
• Be attentive to guests and resolve complaints where possible
• Maintain cleanliness of hostess station and menus
• Coordinate with the service team and other departments
• Present checks and perform cashiering if needed
• Ensure the restaurant is ready to receive guests before opening
• Assist in inventory and train waitstaff in hostess standards
• Support other outlets during peak times
