Raffles The Palm Dubai invites applications for a Hostess in F&B. You will provide exceptional and personalized service, greet guests, manage reservations, seat guests, and coordinate with the service team to ensure seamless dining experiences.

We value at least 1 year of hotel F&B experience, English proficiency, well-presented appearance and strong interpersonal skills. This is a on-site role at a luxury beach resort with a commitment to luxury service.

Qualifications

• 1 year hotel experience in F&B.
• Secondary education completed.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with guests.
• Knowledge of restaurant seating plan.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests at F&B outlets.
• Handle table reservations and manage guest flow.
• Provide a warm welcome and assist with inquiries.
• Coordinate with service team and uphold standards.
• Present checks and perform cashiering if needed.
• Maintain hostess station and cleanliness of areas and menus.
• Train waitstaff and bus staff in hostess standards.
• Ensure readiness of restaurant before opening.

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles The Palm as we are currently looking for a Hostess reporting to the F amp B Supervisor The Hostess is responsible for providing exceptional and personalized service to our guests ensuring that every arrival and dining experience is seamless warm and welcoming The role includes greeting and seating guests managing reservations and table assignments assisting with guest inquiries and requests coordinating with the service team and ensuring the restaurant or outlet is presented to the highest standards At Raffles the Hostess is more than the first point of contact for our guests This role is about creating memorable dining experiences through genuine hospitality elegance and attention to detail The Hostess is professional gracious and proactive anticipating guest needs and responding efficiently to requests while maintaining the exceptional service standards warmth and sophistication that define the Raffles experience

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To provide an appropriate welcome at F amp B Outlets for guests
• To handle table reservations and effectively control the flow of guests
• Provide a warm and friendly welcome leading guests and seating them at their table
• Take telephone bookings and maintain a clear and organised reservations book
• Assist in the set-up of tables and displays
• Maintain and update guest database
• Be attentive to guests and resolve their complaints where possible reporting all incidents to Supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness of hostess station and surrounding areas as well as of all menus
• Maintain good working relationship with own colleagues and all other departments
• Correct preparation of all necessary operational material in the back office
• Learn safety sanitation and hygiene policies
• Present check to guests and performs cashiering function if needed
• Effectively control guest flow in the restaurant ensuring maximum turnover
• Assist in carrying out quarterly bi-yearly yearly inventory of operating equipment
• Train waitstaff and bus staff in hostess standards
• Ensure the restaurant is ready to receive guests prior to opening and that both waitstaff and tables are ready in line with opening standards
• Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel
• Assist other Food amp Beverage Outlets in their operations within peak times when needed

Qualifications

• 1 year Hotel experience in F&B
• Secondary education
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to establish a good rapport with guests
• Possess full knowledge of restaurant s seating/table plan
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
