Job summary

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service at check-in and check-out, manage inquiries, and create memorable experiences in a luxury setting.

You will greet guests, process registrations, provide information about facilities and local attractions, and coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other teams to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in Front Office, Guest Services, or Reception within a luxury hotel is preferred.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent spoken and written English & Arabic; additional languages an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Escort VIP guests through personalized arrival and departure experiences when required.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, transportation, and dining options.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel products, promotions, and services; verify reservations and registration details.
• Process room assignments, upgrades, and handle special requests; liaise with departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle payments, deposits, and financial records in accordance with hotel policies; balance cash and produce daily reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and ensure repeat business through excellent service.
