Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi welcomes a Front Desk Agent to join the Front Office team at this luxury property. The successful candidate will greet guests, complete registrations, assign rooms, and provide a seamless check-in and check-out experience to ensure a warm first and last impression.

Ideal applicants have prior luxury-hotel experience, immaculate grooming, and outstanding communication skills to handle guest inquiries, coordinate with housekeeping, and promote hotel

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the same role in a luxury hotel is preferred
• Resort experience is required
• Immaculate grooming standards with a professional appearance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on guest interaction

Responsibilities

• Check-in arriving guests and check-out departing guests in a friendly and caring manner according to standards
• Register guests, assign rooms, complete registration cards
• Accommodate special requests whenever possible
• Use suggestive selling techniques to promote rooms and services
• Verify payment methods and balance cash according to procedures
• Handle front office cashier activities and balance cash at end of shift
• Coordinate with housekeeping on late check-outs and early check-ins
• Provide information to guests by phone or in person and refer issues as needed
• Possess knowledge of room reservation procedures
