Job summary

Hilton in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Director of Groups Conferences & Events Sales to lead strategy and execution for group bookings, conferences and luxury events. You will convert inquiries, nurture client relationships and drive high-value bookings across the Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts brand.

The role requires 5–7 years in group/event sales within luxury hospitality, strong leadership, and proven ability to exceed revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 5–7 years in group sales, event sales, or conference services, preferably luxury.
• Leadership experience managing high-performing sales teams.
• Strong communication and negotiation with a client-focused approach.
• Knowledge of luxury hospitality market and trends in group sales and event planning.
• Familiarity with sales systems and event management software.
• Strong financial acumen to analyze data and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual sales strategy for groups, conferences and events with the Sales & Marketing team.
• Identify target markets to drive high-value bookings.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management to optimize space and pricing for RevPAS.
• Lead and mentor the Groups Conferences & Events Sales team to achieve goals.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to deliver seamless, memorable events.
• Train team in luxury service standards and client engagement.
• Maintain relationships with key clients, planners and partners for repeat business.
• Act as primary contact for high-profile and VIP events.
• Oversee contracts, proposals and BEOs; ensure flawless execution.
