Minimum 2 years of experience as a host/hostess in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
Fluent in English; a second language is an advantage.
Knowledge of a restaurant reservation system is essential.
Knowledge of dining etiquette and wine service is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, and ensure a positive lasting impression.
Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas.
Manage reservations and maintain a reservation system.
Advise guests on the menu, specials, and unusual features of the restaurant.
Ensure that all guests are served with a consistent high level of quality.
Address customer complaints, suggestions or concerns, and report them to a Manager or the respective department
Ensure that the restaurant is clean, well maintained and operational at all times.
