Job summary

The First Group Hospitality is seeking a Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests in our Dubai venue. You will ensure a positive dining experience from arrival to departure, coordinating seating, reservations, and guest inquiries with excellent service.

Ideal candidates will have prior hosting experience, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of restaurant etiquette and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Host/Hostess.
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Experience in managing reservations.
• Demonstrable customer-service skills.
• Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the venue and manage seating/queues.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
• Escort guests to dining or bar areas and present menus.
• Coordinate with staff on seating options and reservations.
• Greet guests upon departure and handle inquiries politely.
• Maintain a clean reception area and aid with guest needs.
