Job summary

Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, invites applications for a Bellman to join the guest experience team. Provide exceptional service, assist with luggage, escort guests, and support check-in procedures in a luxury setting.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, with at least 1 year in hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Arabic preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Arabic preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with hotel facilities, services and local attractions

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage and escort to rooms
• Support check-in/check-out procedures for baggage handling
• Greet guests at the main entrance and doors
• Open/close doors for arriving and departing guests
• Maintain a clean entrance, lobby and drive-way
• Guide guests to Front Desk and stay with them during check-in
• Accompany guest to their room and explain hotel layout
• Be familiar with lift workings and safety procedures
• Provide information about hotel facilities and services
• Remember guest names, especially repeats and long-stay guests
• Assist other staff and cover shifts when needed
• Prepare newspapers and deliver to rooms as assigned
• Log important matters in Duty Log
• Arrange transport with Airport Concierge and coordinate luggage
