Job summary

NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta is seeking a professional Bellman to be the first point of contact for guests, assisting with luggage, directions, and general inquiries. This role requires a proactive, guest-centric approach in a luxury hotel setting.

The Bellman will collaborate with front desk and housekeeping to ensure seamless experiences, maintain a welcoming lobby, and uphold high standards of service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Able to lift and carry luggage regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Professional demeanor and guest-focused mindset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Assist with luggage handling, room delivery, and transportation of packages.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, dining, and services.
• Respond promptly to guest requests with courtesy.
• Maintain lobby, entrance areas, and luggage storage areas.
• Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping for seamless experiences.
• Operate elevators and assist guests with navigation.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and report issues to management.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Multitask effectively during peak hours while preserving service quality.
