Job summary

Amazon Operations in Dubai seeks a Logistics Supervisor to oversee Special Handling network (AMXL) sites, focusing on performance, 3PL partnerships, and continuous improvement. You will align with internal and external teams to ensure timely launches and strong metrics.

Qualifications

• UAE national with family book.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Engineering or Logistics.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
• Previous experience in a similar process development role ideally in fast-paced industrial logistics or production/manufacturing environment.
• In depth experience of Distribution and Fulfillment processes.
• Excellent Project Management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and key stakeholders and the ability to work under pressure in a cross functional organization.
• Advanced data analysis skills and an expert in using supporting tools Excel MS Access.
• Supply Chain knowledge through work experience or coursework.
• Good hands on experience on MS office suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage performance and capacity of Third party logistics partners (3PL) under the roof and under the road.
• Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance.
• Maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs with 3PL.
• Optimizing the 3PLs first and middle delivery network and improving speed to our customer through various initiatives.
• Contribute major projects within the UAE Operations Fulfillment / Supply Chain / Transportation to support business and selection growth.
• Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external customers.
• Prioritize projects and software feature requests evaluate and set stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across Amazons Retail and external fulfillment teams.
• Own deployment of Continuous Improvement of network standards in collaboration with MENA Process Owners MENA ACES and local Process Managers.
• Audit the sites for various operational conformance restrictions and norms
• Conduct audits on based on SOPs analyze data and propose process improvement initiatives

Join the Global Specialty fulfillment team as a Logistics Supervisor in our Special Handling network (AMXL). As a Logistics Supervisor you will be responsible for a site/s from operations and compliance point of view. You will be working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve timely launches and operations metrics. With customer obsession and a high sense of ownership you will utilize your skills to identify patterns and any disruptions in it. You should be able to dive deep scrutinize details and foresee data implications.
