Job summary

Amazon Logistics is expanding its Operations Supervisors team in Dubai. You will oversee shift management across first mile fulfillment centres, middle mile sortation centres, or final mile delivery stations, driving safety, performance and customer service on the ground.

You’ll train associates, manage labor, and coordinate with other departments to solve issues and optimize processes. The role involves data-driven decision making, supporting frontline management, and delivering orders on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
• Experience in problem solving and data analytics
• Work flexible shifts including night shifts and weekends
• Experience with research and investigation skills or equivalent
• Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing own tasks for multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Create and cultivate a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities across your work area
• Manage and train our Associates to help deliver the best service for our customers
• Ensure that customer orders are fulfilled in line with quality and safety guidelines
• Continuously provide critical shift related information to frontline management and operators
• Adjust labor allocation throughout your shifts to meet and exceed plans and forecasts
• Engage with support functions and or other departments to address common issues or needs in key areas of performance e.g. process area readiness, 5S, safety, training
• Help to solve logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation and process optimization
