Job summary

Q Express Documents Transport LLC - Dubai South Branch is seeking an Operations Supervisor to deputize for the Operations Manager and oversee daily logistics and delivery operations in Dubai South. You will supervise coordinators, assistants, and delivery associates to ensure shipments meet KPIs and safety standards.

You will mentor staff, monitor workflows, and partner with other departments to improve processes.

Qualifications

Experience leading logistics teams.
Ability to plan operations and monitor KPIs.
Experience with process improvement initiatives.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Support the daily management of operational duties and deputize for the Operations Manager as needed.
Prioritize safety at the delivery station and supervise staff to meet KPIs.
Monitor performance of coordinators and associates; coach and develop the team.
Collaborate with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and service provider performance.
Interview candidates for associate roles and support workload planning for drivers and staff.
Measure workflows and daily metrics; assist with tracking, trending and reporting on site performance.
Train and mentor new associates; follow up on process-related issues.
Be flexible to work different shifts and overtime when required; help with resourcing the function.
