Job summary

Q Express Documents Transport LLC - Dubai South Branch is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support daily management, deputize for the Operations Manager, and drive safety at the delivery station in Dubai South.

You will supervise logistics staff, monitor performance against KPIs, and collaborate with other departments to improve processes and service quality. The role includes interviewing candidates, training new Associates, and coordinating shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain/logistics or related field.
Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
Experience managing teams.

Responsibilities

Deputize for the Operations Manager and manage daily operational duties.
Prioritize and improve safety at the delivery station while supervising logistics staff to meet KPIs.
Monitor coordinator and associate performance; collaborate with supporting departments to improve processes and service quality.
Interview candidates for associate roles.
Brief and monitor workload of drivers and associates; track workflows and daily performance metrics.
Train and mentor new Associates; resolve process-related issues as needed.
Be flexible to work different shifts and overtime when required.
Resource the function by addressing training needs, absences and performance management.
