Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a Logistics Manager in the United Arab Emirates to plan, coordinate, and supervise end-to-end logistics for armored vehicles, defense equipment, and government contracts. You will manage international freight, import/export duties, and shipping compliance across air, sea, and land channels with a focus on security and regulatory adherence.

Requires 8–12 years in logistics, at least 5 years in defense sectors, and experience with MOD/government contracts.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of logistics and supply chain experience.
• Minimum 5 years in defense, military, armored vehicle, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing logistics for MOD, military, or government contracts.

Responsibilities

Job Summary The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning coordinating and managing all logistics transportation import export warehousing and customs activities related to armored vehicles defense equipment and government contracts The role ensures the timely and compliant delivery of products to Ministries of Defense MOD military organizations government agencies and international customers while adhering to UAE and international defense trade regulations Lead end-to-end logistics operations for armored vehicles defense systems spare parts and military equipment Manage domestic and international transportation through air sea and land freight Coordinate all import export documentation customs clearance and shipping compliance Ensure full compliance with UAE export control regulations defense licensing requirements and international trade laws Liaise with Ministries of Defense MOD Armed Forces Customs Authorities Ports and government agencies Coordinate with production procurement quality engineering and project teams to ensure on-time project deliveries Manage relationships with freight forwarders shipping lines customs brokers and logistics service providers Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve logistics delays or customs issues Develop logistics strategies to optimize costs while maintaining service levels Oversee warehouse operations inventory movement and material handling Ensure secure transportation of military and controlled products Maintain logistics KPIs shipment reports freight cost analysis and delivery performance metrics Support international exhibitions military demonstrations and overseas vehicle deployments Lead and develop the logistics team while ensuring compliance with company HSE and quality standards
