Job summary

ALEC Holdings is seeking an experienced Logistics Foreman to keep construction sites safe, organized, and running efficiently in the UAE. You will oversee labour allocation, material movement, and safety compliance while coordinating with civil, fit‑out, and MEP teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in construction logistics or site operations.
• Familiarity with logistics planning, site establishment, and material handling.
• Basic understanding of lifting operations and safety protocols.
• Strong coordination with subcontractors and internal teams.
• Experience in record keeping and simple documentation.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate labour resources for logistics activities (edge protection, material shifting, site establishment).
• Maintain timekeeping records for plant and operator allocation with commercial awareness.
• Monitor third‑party certifications for operators, riggers, and plant equipment; request renewals as needed.
• Lead DSTIs and toolbox talks, communicate Method Statements to logistics teams.
• Manage diesel filling operations, including request tracking and log maintenance.
• Oversee welfare areas across the site and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Interpret project drawings and specifications to implement logistics layouts.
• Raise Purchase Requests (PRs) for logistics materials (hoists, ramps, consumables).
• Coordinate with civil, fit-out, and MEP contractors for logistics planning.
• Provide on‑site supervision and compile logistics data for reporting.

About Your Team

Our Logistics team plays a vital role in keeping our construction sites safe, organized, and operating efficiently. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel, we ensure smooth material movement, effective resource coordination, and seamless day-to-day logistics operations that support successful project delivery.

Your Role

As a Logistics Foreman, you will

• Allocate labour resources for logistics activities such as edge protection, material shifting, and site establishment.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping records for allocation of plant and operators, with a strong awareness of commercial implications.
• Monitor third-party certifications for operators, riggers, and plant equipment, request for renewals when required.
• Conduct DSTIs and toolbox talks, and communicate Method Statements to logistics ground teams.
• Manage diesel filling operations, including request tracking and log maintenance.
• Oversee the establishment and upkeep standards of welfare areas across the site.
• Interpret project drawings, details, and specifications to implement logistics layouts effectively.
• Understand work sequences and raise Purchase Requests (PRs) for required logistics materials (e.g., hoist bolts, ramps and other consumables).
• Ensure compliance with general site safety rules and regulations.
• Supervise traffic management and plant flagmen to maintain safe and efficient site movement.
• Coordinate with civil, fit-out, and MEP contractors to allocate working/storage areas as per the logistics plan.
• Possess basic knowledge of lifting activities, temporary works, optimized material movements, knowledge of Just in Time deliveries (JiT) and lift plans to support site operations.
• Provide on-site supervision and prepare logistics-related data for commercial reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of plant and labour usage for commercial documentation and analysis

What We’re Looking For

• Basic understanding of lifting operations and safety protocols.
• Strong coordination skills with subcontractors and internal teams.
• Experience in record keeping and simple documentations.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Basic Computer and mobile app literacy for documentation and reporting
