Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a Logistics Foreman to coordinate and supervise daily on-site logistics on a construction project in Dubai. You will ensure safe, timely and efficient movement of materials, equipment, vehicles and personnel, while maintaining effective site logistics and adherence to HSE procedures.

The role requires oversight of loading/unloading, storage, access management and collaboration with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Storekeepers and Procurement to meet project

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant construction site logistics experience.
• Experience as Logistics Foreman or Site Logistics Supervisor; UAE/GCC experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics activities in line with the project construction programme.
• Supervise the movement of materials, equipment, tools and resources within the construction site.
• Coordinate site access, delivery routes, loading/unloading areas and designated storage locations.
• Ensure construction areas remain accessible, organised and free from obstructions.
• Coordinate logistics requirements with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Storekeepers and Procurement.
• Coordinate and supervise unloading, movement and distribution of construction materials.
• Ensure materials are delivered to the correct location and available to work teams; verify quantities and check against delivery docs.
• Coordinate lifting and handling with authorised personnel and teams.
• Store materials safely and protect from damage, weather or contamination.
• Manage movement of delivery vehicles, trucks and site equipment; control vehicle movements on site.
• Ensure vehicles follow approved access and traffic management arrangements.
• Coordinate with drivers and equipment operators on schedules and site needs.
• Report equipment or vehicle issues affecting construction activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, haul roads, pedestrian routes and delivery areas.
• Implement site traffic management with the HSE team.
• Ensure safe segregation of vehicles, equipment and pedestrians.
• Monitor attendance, performance and discipline of the logistics team.
• Provide on-the-job guidance and ensure safe working practices.
• Support site team in resolving material movement, access, storage and delivery issues.
• Coordinate logistics to minimise disruption to construction works.
• Ensure all logistics comply with HSE requirements and method statements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings; ensure PPE use and safe handling practices.

The Logistics Foreman is responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day logistics activities on a construction site ensuring the safe, timely and efficient movement of materials, equipment, vehicles and personnel. The role supports construction operations by maintaining effective site logistics, delivery coordination, storage, access and material handling in accordance with project requirements and HSE procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise for unloading movement and distribution of construction materials
• Ensure materials are delivered to the correct location and made available to the relevant work teamsVerify delivery quantities and assist with checking materials against delivery documentation

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification is preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in construction site logistics, preferably with a main contractor.
• Previous experience as a Logistics Foreman, Site Logistics Supervisor, or similar role.UAE/GCC construction experience is highly desirable.
• Experience working on large-scale building, infrastructure, commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction site operations, material handling, vehicle movements, and site access management.
