Role Description

As a Logistics Assistant, you will support daily logistics activities to ensure the efficient movement of products and materials from suppliers and warehouses to their required destinations. You will assist with shipment coordination, delivery scheduling, documentation, inventory movements, and communication with internal teams and logistics partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with daily logistics and transportation coordination activities.
• Coordinate shipments, deliveries, collections, transfers, and transportation schedules.
• Prepare and verify delivery orders, shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and other logistics documentation.
• Monitor shipment and delivery status and follow up on pending, delayed, or incomplete deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, transport providers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Assist with arranging transportation, delivery schedules, and route requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, inventory movements, transportation details, and logistics documents.
• Support receiving, dispatching, loading, unloading, and transfer activities where required.
• Assist with tracking inventory movements between suppliers, warehouses, stores, and other locations.
• Identify and report shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages, delays, or other logistics issues.
• Assist in resolving delivery and transportation issues through timely communication and follow-up.
• Prepare logistics reports, shipment summaries, delivery updates, and operational records.
• Support monitoring of transportation costs, delivery performance, schedules, and service levels.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements, and operational standards.
• Support improvements to logistics processes, delivery efficiency, documentation accuracy, and operational coordination.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties related to logistics as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory, and delivery processes.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good follow-up and time-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple shipments, deliveries, schedules, and operational tasks.
• Ability to maintain accurate logistics records and documentation.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, logistics providers, warehouse teams, drivers, and internal departments.
• Familiarity with ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transport Management System (TMS), or delivery tracking systems is an advantage.

• Ability to identify logistics issues and coordinate timely resolution.
