Job summary

Le Méridien Fujairah is seeking a Kitchen Operations Supervisor to manage daily kitchen utility operations and staff. The role covers dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, banquet plating and food running, while supervising dishwashers and kitchen helpers to maintain service standards and budget.

You will lead a team, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and strive to improve guest and employee satisfaction as part of the Le Méridien hotel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years in procurement, food & beverage, culinary, or related area; or a 2-year degree plus 2 years related experience.
• Hotel/restaurant management background is preferred; experience in hospitality operations is advantageous.
• Ability to lead a team and manage costs while maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities

• Orders and manages necessary supplies; ensures staff have required equipment and uniforms.
• Schedules events and assigns work; monitors material inflow and inventory levels.
• Maintains china, glass, silver, and food/beverage inventories; ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Leads and develops kitchen staff; enforces safety, loss prevention, and budget goals.
