Job summary

KBR is seeking a Lead Planning and Cost Engineer for an offshore subsea project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on developing, monitoring, and reporting project schedules and costs across the lifecycle, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in project controls, planning, and cost engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead role on offshore oil & gas projects, and familiarity with FEED/EPC and offshore facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PSP (AACE), CCP, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience Minimum 15 years of experience in Project Controls, Planning, and Cost Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a Lead Planning/Cost Engineer role on Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience working on ADNOC Offshore, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, or major EPC projects is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in FEED, EPC, Brownfield, Greenfield, offshore platforms, subsea, pipelines, and associated facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (Level 1–4).
• Prepare detailed EPC schedules covering all project phases.
• Establish baselines and monitor schedule performance.
• Conduct CPM analysis and identify schedule risks.
• Prepare cost budgets, CBS, and forecasts (EAC/ETC).
• Validate invoices and monitor changes/claims impact.
• Generate progress reports, S-Curves, and KPIs.
• Interface with ADNOC Offshore, consultants, EPC contractors.
