Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Specialist Planning & Cost Engineer for an Offshore Water Injection Project, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Role includes Office + Offshore Site responsibilities with a 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation, and robust planning, cost control and reporting duties across engineering, procurement, construction, offshore installation, commissioning and start-up.

Ideal candidate has 15–18 years in project controls, strong Primavera P6, EVM, and ERP experience, plus offshore

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, PSP (AACE), or CCP are preferred.
Primavera P6 certification is an advantage.
15–18 years of experience in project planning and cost control in oil & gas.
At least 5 years supporting offshore projects and related offshore assets.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and cost control systems across engineering, procurement, construction, offshore installation, and commissioning.
Monitor progress, identify critical paths, and prepare mitigation and recovery plans.
Prepare EAC/ETC forecasts and manage budgets, commitments, accruals, and invoices.
Generate KPI dashboards, EVA, SPI/CPI reports and management presentations.
Coordinate interfaces among multi-discipline teams and EPC contractors.
