Zusammenfassung

EDGE is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Principal Engineer in Abu Dhabi to drive process development, industrialization, and NPI execution for propulsion programs. You will mentor engineers, lead manufacturing activities from prototype to production, and collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and vendors.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise in advanced machining, fixture concepts, and shop-floor best practices, with strong CAD/CAM/CNC capabilities and experience in NPI.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 15+ years of aerospace or propulsion manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on expertise in advanced machining/fabrication of rotating and structural engine components.
• Experience supporting NPI, industrialization and production ramp-up.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM and CNC programming for process definition.
• Knowledge of machining simulation/optimization software (Vericut, Third Wave, CutPro).
• Understanding of fixture concepts, work-holding methods and shop-floor best practices.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and qualification of advanced machining and fabrication processes.
• Provide technical leadership in precision turning, milling, and multi-axis machining.
• Define routing, work instructions, control plans and inspection strategies.
• Lead or support NPI and industrialization activities and production ramp-up.
• Support concurrent engineering with design teams to optimize manufacturability and cost.
