Job summary

EDGE POWERTECH is seeking a Senior Production Assembler to perform complex mechanical assembly on propulsion systems and aerospace components within the Final Assembly Line in Abu Dhabi. The role requires reading engineering drawings, adhering to procedures, and ensuring high-quality, traceable assemblies.

You will support production targets, troubleshoot non-conformities, mentor junior assemblers, and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives in a challenging aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Aerospace Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of assembly experience in propulsion systems, engines, rotating equipment, or precision assemblies.
• Experience working in Final Assembly Line environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical assembly and integration for engines and propulsion systems.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, assembly procedures, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Support Final Assembly Line targets and delivery schedules; identify and elevate assembly issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting non-conformities and rework; contribute to process improvements and lean initiatives.
• Ensure proper handling, traceability of parts, tools, and consumables; maintain clean 5S workstations.
