Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Fabrication for ADASI in Abu Dhabi to design, optimize, and implement fabrication layouts and processes that boost productivity and quality in aerospace production. The role leads planning of workflows, equipment and resource needs, validates prototype manufacturing, and monitors costs and KPIs to ensure competitive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience, preferably within the aerospace and composite manufacturing industry.
• Experience with composite part industrialization from engineering definition through production.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize fabrication layouts, workflows, and manufacturing processes to improve productivity, reduce waste, and control production costs.
• Validate prototype manufacturing processes, conduct time and motion studies, verify MBOMs, and ensure production readiness.
• Monitor production performance, labour productivity, equipment efficiency, and quality KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to implement process improvements, cost-reduction initiatives, and efficient serial production operations.
