Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an Engineer II – Special Processes to support the development, qualification, and industrialization of aerospace special processes for propulsion programs. The role involves hands-on execution in a greenfield manufacturing environment, focusing on rotating, structural, and hot-section components.

Responsibilities include process development, qualification, and shop-floor support, with exposure to coatings, heat treatments, brazing, and NADCAP-like qualification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or propulsion manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise in at least two aerospace special process technologies.
• Experience supporting NPI, prototype builds, or production environments.
• Familiarity with NADCAP requirements is desirable.
• Knowledge of aerospace materials and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support development, qualification, and continuous improvement of aerospace special processes.
• Create and maintain routings, process specs, work instructions, and control plans.
• Assist with process validation activities including FAI and capability studies.
• Support shop-floor data collection and process monitoring.
• Collaborate with design teams for manufacturability feedback.
• Lead or assist with supplier process reviews.
