EDGE, based in Abu Dhabi, seeks an Engineer II – Special Processes to support development, qualification, and industrialization of aerospace processes for propulsion programs in a greenfield manufacturing environment.

You will work hands-on across rotating, structural, and hot-section components, applying process technologies such as shot peening, thermal spray coatings, heat treatment, brazing, and chemical processing, while aiding in process validation and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or propulsion manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on expertise in at least two aerospace special process technologies (shot peening, thermal spray coatings, heat treatment, brazing, chemical processing).
• Experience supporting NPI, prototype builds, or production environments.
• Detail-oriented problem-solver able to work in a fast-paced greenfield manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of aerospace materials (titanium alloys, nickel-based superalloys, stainless steels, aluminum alloys) and NADCAP familiarity is desirable.

• Apply hands-on knowledge of special process technologies across manufacturing stages.
• Assist with process validation activities including FAI, capability studies, and industrial qualification.
• Support data collection and statistical monitoring to ensure stable process performance.
• Contribute to design-to-manufacture activities and provide manufacturability feedback.
