Job summary

Q-Express Documents Transport in Dubai, UAE, is hiring a Launch Manager to lead strategic and tactical projects for expanding Amazon Now and launching new Fulfillment Centers.

You will own scoping, planning, process development, risk mitigation, and senior leadership communication across business, technology, design, procurement, construction, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 4 years of program or project management experience.
• 3 years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
• 3 years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• 4 years of Fulfillment Center operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLookup(s).
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to identify improvements.

Responsibilities

• Work backwards from customer requirements to define program scope, requirements, and critical milestones.
• Own end-to-end project coordination for new Fulfillment Center launches.
• Create and maintain project plans covering Road to Launch activities.
• Drive multiple time-sensitive action items simultaneously across different teams.
• Own program trackers and communicate progress and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure launch activities are completed according to program requirements.
• Identify and mitigate schedule risks that could affect launch execution.
• Develop processes that support consistent and effective project delivery.
• Operate effectively in situations involving significant ambiguity and a rapidly changing environment.
• Collaborate with and influence team members and stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions.
• Present project progress, risks, changes, and results to senior leadership on a regular basis.
• Gather and analyze launch performance data.
• Use data and metrics to identify opportunities for process and program improvement.
• Establish and develop initiatives that support network expansion strategies.
