Job summary

Amazon UAE is seeking a Launch Manager in Dubai to drive end-to-end coordination for new fulfillment center launches and expansion of the network. You will own program scope, milestones and detailed plans while coordinating across business, technology, design, procurement and construction teams to ensure timely execution.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in program or project management and FC operations, with strong data, Excel and SQL skills to track performance and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 4 years of program or project management experience.
• 4 years of fulfillment center operations experience.
• 3 years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
• 3 years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including Pivot Tables and VLookUps.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience defining program requirements.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine improvements.
• Literacy in fulfillment center layout and design.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end coordination of projects associated with launching new fulfillment centers and expanding Amazon 's operational network.
• Work backwards from customer requirements to define program scope.
• Establish program requirements and critical launch milestones.
• Develop detailed project plans for launch activities.
• Coordinate Road to Launch tasks across participating teams.
• Drive execution against established project schedules.
• Monitor dependencies that could affect launch readiness.
• Identify and mitigate schedule risks.
• Maintain visibility of outstanding actions through launch completion.
• Drive multiple time-sensitive action items across different teams.
• Own program trackers used to monitor launch progress.
• Provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify risks that could affect project schedules or execution.
• Coordinate corrective actions when milestones are at risk.
• Manage changing requirements within a rapidly evolving environment.
• Maintain alignment between tactical execution and broader expansion objectives.
• Successful facility launches require coordinated execution across technical and non-technical functions.
• Manage multiple stakeholders across launch workstreams.
• Coordinate dependencies between functional teams.
• Influence team members to maintain progress against milestones.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Resolve issues that could delay launch activities.
• Present project status and priorities to senior leadership.
• Communicate process and product changes affecting launch execution.
• Create structured project plans that provide clear ownership, milestones, dependencies and schedules.
• Strong judgement is required when project information is incomplete or priorities change during execution.
• Use operational and project data to evaluate launch execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Gather launch performance data.
• Analyze results against program expectations.
• Use metrics to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate recurring launch issues.
• Develop recommendations based on performance findings.
• Support improvements to future launch planning and execution.
• Maintain appropriate performance visibility for stakeholders.
• Establish and develop initiatives that support Amazon 's network expansion strategy.
• Define and implement process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.

• Develop processes that improve execution and coordination.
