Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) seeks a Landscape Project Engineer to manage technical and coordination aspects of landscape projects from design review to execution. You will oversee irrigation, planting, and hardscape works, ensuring alignment with design intent, quality, and schedule.

The role requires knowledge of landscape construction, ability to coordinate with architects and site teams, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office to produce accurate submittals and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Landscape Engineering required.
• 3–7 years of experience in landscape project engineering or landscape construction management.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, planting techniques, and hardscape construction methods.
• Experience coordinating with landscape architects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review landscape design drawings, specifications, and BOQs for constructability.
• Coordinate with landscape architects, contractors, and site teams throughout project execution.
• Plan and monitor project schedules for hardscape, softscape, and irrigation works.
• Oversee quality control of planting, hardscape finishes, and irrigation installations.
• Coordinate procurement of plant materials, irrigation equipment, and landscape supplies.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Track project progress, prepare reports, and manage variation orders.
• Liaise with clients and consultants on technical submittals and approvals.
• Support handover, maintenance planning, and defects liability follow-up.
