Job summary

La Vita Landscapes is seeking a hands-on Site Engineer to manage day-to-day execution of landscape projects in Dubai. You will lead on-site activities, coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure work is completed safely, on time and to the required standard of quality.

The role requires 3+ years in landscape construction, a relevant diploma or degree, and the ability to read landscape drawings and technical details.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in landscape construction/project execution.
• Ability to read landscape drawings and technical details.
• UAE/Dubai experience is an advantage and UAE driving licence is required.

Key Responsibilities

La Vita Landscapes is looking for a Site Engineer to manage the day-to-day execution of landscape projects and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on time and to the required quality standards.

• Supervise daily landscape project activities on-site.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, designs and specifications.
• Manage site manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate hardscape, softscape, irrigation, lighting and other landscape works.
• Check quality of workmanship and ensure proper installation and finishing.
• Identify and resolve site issues and coordinate solutions with the project team.
• Take site measurements and maintain daily progress records.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials meet project requirements.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates and required documentation.
• Coordinate inspections and client/consultant approvals.
• Ensure proper health, safety and housekeeping standards on-site.
• Support project managers with planning, costing, variations and project handover.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in landscape construction/project execution.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, Horticulture or a related field.
• Good understanding of landscape construction, irrigation, hardscape and softscape works.
• Ability to read and understand landscape drawings and technical details.
• Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under project deadlines.
• UAE/Dubai experience is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is required.
