Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in Dubai seeks an Assistant Manager – Learning & Development to lead onboarding, coordinate training initiatives, and ensure programs meet luxury service standards across departments.

You will manage the LMS, collaborate with training partners, mentor junior staff, and deliver engaging training across instructor-led, online, and on-the-job formats while reporting to the L&D Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in training/facilitation in luxury hospitality or casino operations.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging training through instructor-led, on-the-job, and digital platforms.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding journey, including orientation and probation, ensuring programs align with standards.
• Support the Director in designing and implementing learning initiatives across departments.
• Coordinate multiple training programs with competing deadlines using project management skills.
• Co-manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation and audience management.
• Track attendance for mandatory training and company-wide learning events.
• Collaborate with training partners to share best practices and resources.
• Mentor junior L&D team members and support their development.
• Review training effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Maintain timelines, resources, and independence in execution.
• Report to the L&D Manager and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality or related field
