Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is launching an Assistant Manager – Learning & Development role within its Learning & Development team in the UAE. The position focuses on overseeing onboarding, designing and delivering training, and coordinating multiple programs while managing the LMS.

The candidate will mentor junior L&D staff, track training effectiveness, and align programs with luxury hospitality standards. A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is expected, with compensation in AED

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of training/facilitation and hotel or casino operations experience or equivalent.
• Experience in frontline hospitality operations with luxury service standards.
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training through instructor-led sessions, on-the-job learning, and digital platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with design software is a plus.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and eLearning development tools preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding journey, including orientation and probation.
• Support design, development, and implementation of learning initiatives across departments.
• Coordinate multiple training programs with competing deadlines.
• Co-manage the Learning Management System, including course creation and audience management.
• Track attendance for mandatory training and company-wide events.
• Collaborate with Wynn Resorts training partners to share best practices.
• Mentor junior L&D team members and support their development.
• Review training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Maintain project timelines and resources; work independently as needed.
• Report to the L&D Manager and perform additional responsibilities.
