Job summary

Kitchen Steward Cleaner is sought with restaurant or hotel experience to maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene for our client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role includes dishwashing, cleaning equipment and utensils, waste handling and keeping kitchen areas tidy during service.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and back‑of‑house areas, following hygiene standards, handling waste safely and supporting the kitchen team before,

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hotel stewarding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dishwashing and kitchen cleaning procedures.
• Understanding of basic hygiene and sanitation.
• Knowledge of safe waste handling.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Clean kitchen equipment according to instructions.
• Maintain dishwashing areas in an organised condition.
• Handle and dispose of waste correctly.
• Follow hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Support cleaning activities before during and after service.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Assist the kitchen team with general cleaning requirements.
• Maintain a clean kitchen throughout service.
