Job summary

Accor Dubai is seeking a Kitchen Steward - Back of House Operations to maintain hygienic and efficient hotel kitchen operations. You will manage dishwashing machines, sinks, sanitation areas, waste stations, storage spaces, and equipment while following cleaning procedures.

This is a full-time role with a minimum 1 year of experience; the ideal candidate is physically fit, able to lift, and willing to work weekends as hotel operations require.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen stewarding, dishwashing, or hotel back-of-house role is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift, move, and handle kitchen equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Report for scheduled shifts punctually and prepared to begin assigned duties.
• Operate dishwashing equipment correctly and dismantle machine components when required for thorough cleaning.
• Replace dishwashing machine water regularly and clear debris baskets to maintain effective washing performance.
• Monitor cleaning and sanitising chemicals throughout service and replenish supplies as required.
• Inform supervisors when stocks of dishwashing chemicals, soap products, or other sanitation materials are running low.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly working conditions across all dishwashing stations.
• Complete all assigned opening and closing cleaning duties according to departmental procedures.
